libexplain-dev software package provides library of syscall-specific strerror replacements - development files, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexplain-dev
libexplain-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexplain-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexplain-dev *
You will get with libexplain-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
